Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial

In 2011, during the Super Bowl, the Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial appeared promoting Best Buy’s Buy Back Program.  It was one of the most popular ads shown that day due to Justin’s overwhelming popularity.

The first Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial

In the Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial, Justin appears as himself in the beginning and then he is in disguise where he pokes fun at himself when he says “I don’t know; kinda looks like a girl”, to Ozzy’s question, “What’s a Bieber?”

Probably everyone has seen this commercial at one time or another as it played and continues to play post Super Bowl. The fact that Ozzy Osborne and his wife Sharon are also in the commercial allows for mass appeal of all ages and music genres.

Ozzy Osborne:”Welcome to 4G!”

At the beginning of the Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial, Ozzy Osborne (in his signature eye-liner) screams “welcome to 4G” in his barely legible voice that many hate to love.  He then screams “All aboard the 5G train”, no doubt making reference to his popular “Crazy Train” song.

In the Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial, Justin makes his first appearance about 11 seconds in.  He is dressed in something similar to a space suit and says “It’s a Bieber, 6G Fever” while holding up a cell phone. Justin then winks at the camera which many teen girls probably took as personal!

Enter Sharon Osborne who has recently become a popular television personality herself judging a talent show on network television.  Sharon asks “What’s a 6G?” to which Ozzy replies “What’s a Bieber”.

Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial: JB is NOT a girl!

It is here during the Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial that you will find Justin is complete disguise making the joke where he says “Justin” kinda looks like a girl.  Some people have made this kind of joke in the past when referring to Justin’s looks.

The commercial itself as mentioned is for Best Buy and their Buy Back Program.  With this program, you buy a product at Best Buy and when you are ready to upgrade your product for a new version, they will buy back your older version to put toward your new cost.

This program has become very popular among electronic lovers and will surely bring business to Best Buy in the coming years. There are some rules that apply to the program that should be investigated upon signing up.

Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial – Well Done Best Buy!

Best Buy was also very smart for using Justin in the Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial.  We all know that Justin’s popularity is only growing over the last couple of years and using him combined with rock legend Ozzy Osborne was nothing less than brilliant.

In the middle of the Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial, Ozzy states “How many bloody Gs are there?” at which point Justin enters as says “I’ll take over”.  There is great humor in this ad and Ozzy is perfect in his ‘WTH’ demeanor.

Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial – About 100K per second!

According to CBS, the average cost for a Super Bowl ad running 30 seconds is about $2.5 to 2.8 million dollars.  It shows how well Best Buy is doing financially and forget not how much they must have paid Justin, Ozzy and Sharon for their appearances.

This was one of the most popular Super Bowl ads in 2011 and we hope that Justin will appear in many more ads such as the Justin Bieber Super Bowl Commercial!
